FAQs

  • Chiropractic is founded upon the vitalistic principle that the body is a self-healing organism.

The purpose of chiropractic care is not to treat a specific condition or to cure a disease but to restore normal body function through the nervous system with the chiropractic adjustment.

The objective of the adjustment is to reduce stress to the nervous system. This allows the body to perform optimally by increasing communication from your brain to your body, like turning on a light switch.

  • After your initital adjustment you will typically expierence one of three things: you will feel better, you will have no initital change, or you will feel some mild soreness as you change.

By the time someone comes to a chiropractor, many have been carrying stress and tension for a long time. While we all desire a quick fix, healing and making changes to our body can take time and we are here to support you every step of the way.

  • Chiropractic care is a lifestyle choice. At embody we want you to reach your goals and highest potential. When patients have met their goals we will sit down and discuss next steps.

Most choose to continue care as apart of their health and wellness routine.

Your health is always your choice, and we will support you every step of the way.

  • This is our chance to get to know you, review your concerns, and hear about your health challenges. We’ll discuss what you can expect from nervous system centered chiropractic care and do our best to answer all of your questions. We’ll perform a full neurospinal analysis and provide a safe and non-invasive scan of your nervous system using our CLA INSiGHT System. This technology consists of a thermography reading. It allows us to see the specific location and severity of dysfunction in your nervous system. If no further tests are necessary, you’ll then receive a specific nervous system focused adjustment.

  • Often, majority of people think chiropractic care will help with the pregnant patients back pain, pubic bone pain, sciatica or other related pregnancy symptoms. While we certainly help get relief from those symptoms, nervous system centered care has a huge emphasis on preparing your body for birth and birth outcomes.

Nervous system focused care helps your brain and body adapt to the physical, emotional, and chemical stressors through out pregnancy so that they do not impact you during your pregnancy and birth. Research shows that prenatal chiropractic care contributes to decreased labor times, less interventions and decreased pain and trauma for mom and baby.

It is important to find a chiropractor that is Webster Certified through the ICPA. This technique addresses pelvic and ligamentous imbalances during pregnancy. Restoring the nervous system and reducing tension will support you and your babies needs, decrease pain, and prepare you mentally and physically for birth and postpartum.
